Historical Chapel of Simonino at auction: Prestigious office or exclusive space for exhibitions and commercial activities.
Trento, Via Giannantonio Manci 67
Office di 167 mq
The property at auction, having long lost its original functions, represents a historic location of value for offices, niche commercial activities, but also an exclusive venue for art galleries, exhibitions, and events. Until recently, the spaces were occupied by an art gallery. The Chapel of Simonino is located on the ground floor of Palazzo Salvadori, a sixteenth-century building, one of the first examples of Renaissance architecture in Trento. The Palace is located in the historic center of the Trentino capital.
The Chapel, with a surface area of 167 sqm, has access from the portico of Palazzo Salvadori and overlooks directly onto Via Manci.
The property at auction is composed of a single hall with a gallery and accessory rooms, such as the former sacristy, the storage room, and part of the portico. In the last ten years, the building has undergone periodic ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and has been completely renovated in the 1990s.
The Chapel represents a valuable testimony of construction activity in the Clesian era and is distinguished by the presence of works of great interest, from the frescoes by painter C. Henrici on the ceiling, to the imposing altar in colored marbles, to the choir supported by white marble columns, to the carved doors, shelves, and holy water font.High-quality artifacts that add value to the historical Chapel.
The Sacristy is characterized by its two large windows that largely preserve the blown and leaded glass, while the double-leaf door is made of walnut with panels, and is distinguished by locks, knobs, and hinges that testify to the high level of craftsmanship that created it. The altar, dating back to 1750, represents a work of great value and refinement, given the preciousness of its materials.
The Chapel of Simonino thus constitutes "an extraordinary artistic complex" considering the variety and at the same time harmony of its creations (marbles, stuccos, frescoes, paintings, carved woods) that make it one of the masterpieces of Trentino Rococo.
